La'Mical Perine Expected To See Increased Workload
4 years agoNew York Jets running back La'Mical Perine was expected to have a larger role in the backfield after the departure of Le'Veon Bell. However, veteran Frank Gore has been asked to do most of the heavy lifting in the running game. Head coach Adam Gase did mention that he wants to get Perine more carries against the Buffalo Bills in Week 7. Last week, Perine saw seven carries for 27 yards in the loss to the Miami Dolphins. Perine is worth a stash in most formats, but won't be a great option against the Bills run defense.
