5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Lane Thomas (wrist) has been placed on the 10-day injured list, retroactive August 28. Thomas was hit on the wrist during Tuesday's game and tests showed a right wrist fracture. He'll reportedly be in a cast for three to six weeks, so his rookie season is basically over. Tyler O'Neill returned to the roster on Friday, so he should take over the playing time at Thomas had previously.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
