7 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Lewis Brinson is making a strong case to begin the season on the 25-man roster, and beat reporter Joe Frisaro reports that Brinson could even begin the season in the leadoff spot. Brinson, who came over to Miami in the Christian Yelich trade, is having a phenomenal Spring Training with a .352 average to go with two homers and nine RBI. With a brand-new outfield ready to go in 2018, it wouldn't be a shock to see Brinson make an immediate impact in South Beach.--Steven Slivka
