7 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Magneuris Sierra has been recalled from Triple-A New Orleans on Tuesday. He is taking the place of Garrett Cooper (wrist) on the Marlins active roster. Sierra was acquired by the Marlins during the Marcell Ozuna. He was hitting .260/.287/.341 with two homers and 14 steals during 86 games in Triple A this season. His speed could make him a guy worth watching in deeper fantasy leagues. He is drawing the start in the outfield and batting eighth versus righty Julio Teheran on Tuesday.
