Matt Harvey Turns In Quality Start In Team Debut
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Matt Harvey allowed two earned runs, four hits and three walks with one strikeout over six innings in a no-decision Friday night against the Oakland Athletics. The only mistake Harvey made was a two-run homer given up to slugger Khris Davis, as he took a hanging curveball deep into the night. Harvey still managed a quality start despite the fact he did not get the victory, and his fastball topped out at 95 mph. He'll look to build upon the solid outing when he takes the ball against the Texas Rangers on Thursday in his home debut.
