4 years agoNew England Patriots tight end Matt LaCosse (knee) has been ruled out for Week 9 against the Ravens on Sunday night. Ryan Izzo (concussion) is questionable, but Benjamin Watson should continue to function as the primary pass-catching tight end. The 38-year-old has four catches (six targets) for 44 scoreless yards in his two games this year. He caught his only target for 26 yards in the Week 8 win over the Browns. There just isn't enough volume for the veteran to be considered anything more than a last-gasp TE2 in fantasy. LaCosse and Izzo didn't move the needle at all with Watson out earlier this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
