Matthew Fitzpatrick Returns To Muirfield

4 years agoMatthew Fitzpatrick returns to Muirfield Village Golf Club for the inaugural Workday Charity Open after taking a week off. In 2019, he turned in a T68 finish here at Muirfield, losing strokes putting without doing anything else particularly well to offset this shortcoming. Before a missed cut at the Travelers Championship, Fitzpatrick had made 20 cuts in a row, demonstrating his consistent skill set. Of note, Fitzpatrick will have Jim Bones Mackay as his caddie this week. Mackay was Phil Mickelson’s caddie for 25 years and will certainly give Fitzpatrick a new perspective of both Muirfield and his game. At $8,000 on DraftKings, Fitzpatrick is a better cash play versus GPP.--Aaron Burger
