2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers skipper Dave Roberts said that infielder Max Muncy (hand) is dealing with a right hand contusion. Muncy attempted to swing a bat and couldn't do so, although X-rays came back negative. The Dodgers will see how he feels on Friday. With an off day on Thursday, the Dodgers will be hoping that Muncy will be good to go for a weekend series against the Kansas City Royals. The 31-year-old left the game early on Wednesday night against the Minnesota Twins are a ground ball hit him in the hand. The good news is that X-rays were negative, but Muncy might be out for at least a few days. Muncy has been a big disappointment this year with a .180/.317/.360 slash line, but he does have 13 home runs, 40 RBI, 46 runs scored and two stolen bases in 300 at-bats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
