Mike Brosseau Leading Off On Thursday

4 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Mike Brosseau is in the leadoff spot for the second time in three games on Thursday as the team faces the Boston Red Sox for the final game in a four-game series. Brosseau has been a nice surprise for the team this year. Through 24 plate appearances, he's slashing .375/.375/.875 with three home runs, five RBI and five runs. The 26-year-old Brosseau certainly showed some promising signs in the minor leagues as he had an OPS of .960 at Triple-A in 2019. The Rays shuffle their lineup quite often which is both good and bad for a prospect like Brosseau. While he's likely to regularly see at least a few games per week, he also likely won't get enough starts to warrant owning him in standard fantasy leagues, barring multiple injuries on the team.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
