6 years agoToronto Maple Leafs center Mitchell Marner scored two goals, including the game-winning tally, while adding an assist and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-3 home win against the New York Rangers. Marner is on an extended hot streak, posting six goals with 22 points and a plus-7 rating across the past 13 outings dating back to Nov. 23. The game-winning tally was his first since sending the home folks home happy with a winner against Vegas back on Nov. 6. He endured a 13-game goal drought from Nov. 16-Dec. 13, but now he has at least one goal (six total) during a four-game lamp lighting streak.--Daniel Dobish
