6 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Nelson Cruz leads the team with 33 home runs this season but has really struggled hitting at Safeco Field this season. In 63 home games, Cruz is slashing only .223/.319/.498 with five doubles and 18 home runs. Cruz has much preferred hitting on the road, slashing .305/.382/.561 in contrast. The veteran continues to be as consistent as they come in baseball, posting another season of 30-plus home runs and has an outside shot at 100 RBI's. He also is producing with runners in scoring position, slashing .322/.452/.496 in those situations. Cruz should be active in all fantasy lineups the rest of the season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
