5 years agoDetroit Tigers infielder Niko Goodrum (groin) remains out of the starting lineup on Wednesday, but outfielder Travis Demeritte (groin) is back in there, playing right field and hitting second against Astros starter Justin Verlander. Gordon Beckham is at the keystone and is hitting ninth. We'd suggest avoiding Beckham at all costs, while Demeritte is also a tough sell against Houston's ace. Demeritte has 19 hits in his first 65 MLB at-bats (.292) with two homers and five RBI in 18 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
