7 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Paul Blackburn's (elbow) MRI exam showed no structural damage, and he'll be shut down for a couple of weeks. It's been a tough season for Blackburn, who has a 7.16 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and just 19 strikeouts over 27 2/3 innings (six starts). He could be back in August for the team's rotation, but he doesn't miss enough bats to be much of a fantasy option.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
