Odubel Herrera Arrested For Domestic Violence

5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera was arrested on Monday night after a report of domestic violence involving his 20-year-old girlfriend. The police report says the victim "had visible signs of injury to her arms and neck that was sustained after being assaulted by her boyfriend, David Odubel Herrera, during a dispute." Herrera will face discipline from Major League Baseball under the domestic-violence policy. Expect him to be placed on the suspended list before a suspension is announced. The 27-year-old is hitting just .222/.288/.341 on the season with a homer, 16 RBI and two steals and was already losing playing time to Scott Kingery in center field.
