5 years agoMajor League Baseball announced on Tuesday that they placed Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera on administrative leave, per the league's joint domestic-violence, sexual-assault and child-abuse policy. Herrera was arrested for domestic violence in Atlantic City on Monday night in an incident involving his 20-year-old girlfriend. A suspension from MLB is also likely coming, so Herrera should be dropped in most mixed leagues at this point, especially after his rough start. He had been losing playing time in center field to Scott Kingery, so Kingery now should be an everyday player for the Phils.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
