5 years agoSan Francisco Giants third/first baseman Pablo Sandoval went 2-for-3 with a single, a two-run home run, three RBI, and a strikeout in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Cardinals. Sandoval took Tyler Webb deep to left field for his 11th HR of the season. The 32-year-old has surprisingly been the Giants' most consistent hitter this season, posting a .288/.325/.571 slash line with 33 RBI in 192 plate appearances. His 25% strikeout rate is concerning but forgivable given his success. He could be useful in deeper leagues, but there are more exciting options at third base given the talent pool.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
