Pablo Sandoval, Billy Hamilton Part Of 60-Player Pool

4 years agoThe San Francisco Giants will carry second baseman Yolmer Sanchez, corner infielder Pablo Sandoval, starting pitcher Trevor Cahill and outfielder Billy Hamilton in their 60-player pool for the shortened 2020 season, according to a source. The Giants released all four players on Sunday and then re-signed them to minor league deals in a clerical move. Depending on how they fare in spring training 2.0, all four players could be a part of the team's 30-man active roster to begin the regular season, although they would all mainly be more of role players, meaning they'd have minimal fantasy appeal in the shortened 60-game season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
