4 years agoCarolina Panthers fourth-round rookie cornerback Troy Pride Jr. and special teams player Corn Elder are both strong options to start in 2020 for the team's secondary. On top of that, rookie Jeremy Chinn is slated to start at safety, so general manager Marty Hurney may still be looking for some veteran cornerbacks before the regular season. In a division that features high-flying offenses under Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Matt Ryan, Carolina's secondary will be tested early and often, and it might not be pretty. On top of it, linebacker Shaq Thompson will have to pick up the slack after the retirement of Luke Kuechly. The Panthers D was one of the worst against the run in 2019 as well.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
