7 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed five of seven passes for 33 yards in the preseason opener. He did not see a bunch of playing time, but did connect a 14-yard gain with tight end Travis Kelce. Mahomes has reportedly struggled with interceptions during camp, but maybe he just needs to shake off the rust. His playmaking ability makes him an interesting option in the late rounds. However, he has not shown enough to warrant starting in most fantasy leagues. He'll look to capitalize in the second preseason game versus the Falcons on Friday.
