7 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays have acquired outfielder Tommy Pham from the St. Louis Cardinals. In exchange the Cardinals will receive left-handed pitcher Genesis Cabrera, outfielder Justin Williams and righty pitcher Roel Ramirez. Pham had a phenomenal 2017 campaign, but is hitting just .248/.331/.399 in 2018. The Cardinals have multiple outfielders that could make a case for an everyday spot. Pham heads to Tampa where he should play everyday in the outfield. He is already a player that should be owned in almost all leagues, but this trade should hopefully increase his value somewhat.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
