7 years agoNew England Patriots running backs Rex Burkhead and James White have taken the majority of the first-team repetitions in offseason workouts. However, it wouldn't be surprising to see rookie Sony Michel, the 31st overall pick in the draft, rise to the top of this group by the time the season starts. Jeremy Hill and Mike Gillislee may be left off the final roster. Michel has the most upside, but in true Bill Belichick fashion, we'll probably see a mix of all three backs leading the backfield at some point on a weekly basis. New England's backfield, as always, will be extremely hard to predict on a week-to-week basis.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
