Rich Hill Posts Quality Start In Season Debut
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Rich Hill (knee) allowed five runs - one earned - and five hits with no walks and six strikeouts over six innings in his regular season debut on Sunday in a no-decision against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He threw 62 of his 85 pitches for strikes, including first-pitch strikes to 17 of the 24 batters he faced. Max Muncy committed a throwing error to send Hill into a 5-1 hole midway through the second, but the offense bailed him out and so did the bullpen. He'll be back at it on Saturday in San Diego opposite LHP Nick Margevicius. It appears safe to plug him back into the active fantasy lineup after this sharp outing.
