4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Roman Quinn was placed on the injured list Sunday after reporting minor illness symptoms, with Kyle Garlick being recalled to take his roster spot. But the most interesting tidbit for fantasy owners is that Scott Kingery got the start in center field Sunday and is now likely to see the lion’s share of playing time so long as Quinn is out of the mix. Kingery had lost his starting spot once top prospect Alec Bohm was called up to hold down the hot corner, but it’s a second chance for the versatile Kingery, who has opened the year in a 4-for-43 rut. Should he heat up in this opportunity, he could again merit some season-long consideration in deeper season-long leagues.--Jesse Borek
