3 years agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Rony Garcia (knee) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Thursday with a left knee sprain, the team announced on Twitter. Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports that Garcia suffered the injury during pregame warmups on Thursday, and had to be helped off the field by trainers. Over two appearances this year, Garcia has allowed one run on one hit and two walks while striking out two over 3 2/3 innings. To fill his spot on the roster, the Tigers called up pitcher Beau Burrows from Triple-A Toledo.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
