4 years agoThe Athletic's Jay Glazer says that New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill is the guy that the Saints believe can be the future starter when Drew Brees retires. Head coach Sean Payton loves Hill, but so does the entire team. The 29-year-old gadget player can do a lot on the football field, but there's plenty of reason for skepticism that he can be an effective NFL starter under center, most notably the fact that he's attempted just 13 passes since 2017. When Brees went down with an injury in 2019 and missed time, it was Teddy Bridgewater, not Hill that took over under center. Fantasy owners will surely want to see Hill succeed at the position before they invest in him in future seasons, but Hill surely can at least make things happen with his legs outside the pocket.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
