Sam Darnold Out Again In Week 6, Joe Flacco To Start

4 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold (shoulder) will not play in Week 6 against the Dolphins, giving veteran Joe Flacco another start under center. With running back Le'Veon Bell now a free agent, it's hard to trust anyone not named Jamison Crowder in this Jets offense. Flacco went 18-for-33 for 195 yards and a touchdown in the 30-10 Week 5 loss to the Cardinals, getting sacked two times. He'll have an easier test this Sunday against the Dolphins, who allow the 12th-most fantasy points to opposing signal-callers this year. But even then, this Jets offense just has very little upside outside of Crowder, who should continue to be peppered with targets.
