5 years agoSan Francisco Giants second baseman Scooter Gennett has been released by the organization on Tuesday. Gennett is hitting .226/.245/.323 this season and hasn't shown much promise with the bat. He was sidelined by injuries to begin the season and then just never seemed right once he came back. Mauricio Dubon has been recalled and is expected to take over at second base full time. Dubon is worth a look in deeper formats, while Gennett can be dropped.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
