6 years agoLos Angeles Clippers point/shooting guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered a career-high 24 points in Monday’s loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, serving as one of three Clippers that took on a massive offensive role. Gilgeous-Alexander finished 9-for-15 from the field, setting new career highs both in makes and attempts. He tacked on three assists and two rebounds to round off an excellent performance. Most notably moving forward, Gilgeous-Alexander logged a team-high 38 minutes which bodes well for those rostering him as his role seems locked in despite a busy Los Angeles backcourt.--Jesse Borek
