4 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Shed Long Jr. continued his struggles going 0-for-3 with a strikeout in Sunday's win over the Rangers. It seems like it was just yesterday when Long was leading off for the Mariners and producing for fantasy, but his struggles have since moved him to eighth in the batting order. Long has just one hit since Aug. 14 and nine strikeouts through that span. If he continues to struggle and Sam Haggerty continues to produce, Long could see himself lose an everyday position with the Mariners.
