6 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Shelby Miller coughed up four earned runs, four hits and three walks with a strikeout across two innings of work in a loss in Sunday's road start against the Los Angeles Angels. He threw just 42 of his 67 pitches for strikes while his ERA ballooned to 9.53 and his WHIP rose to an unseemly 3.18 through 7 2/3 innings across two starts. He has allowed 10 hits and eight walks, so he should be avoided in all fantasy formats until he starts to find a little more consistency. His next scheduled start is set for next Sunday against the visiting Oakland Athletics.--Daniel Dobish
