6 years agoPittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby had an assist on each of his teams goal in a 3-0 road win against the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday. He finished with a plus-3 rating and a team-high five shots on goal. In addition, he won 16 of his 22 faceoff attempts (72.7 percent). It was his first regular-season game with at least three assists since March 7, 2018 in Philadelphia when he chipped in with three helpers. He has managed one goal with nine points and a plus-6 rating over the past six games. He'll try to stay hot Thursday against the Red Wings once play resumes after the holiday break.--Daniel Dobish
