Sony Michel Placed On Injured Reserve

4 years agoNew England Patriots running back Sony Michel (quadriceps) was placed on Injured Reserve on Monday, but a source said the injury isn't season-ending, and Michel could come off IR after three weeks. Michel went from being questionable to play on Monday against the Chiefs, to ruled out to placed on IR. The oft-injured 25-year-old had a coming-out party against the Raiders in Week 3, but he's mostly been inconsistent and disappointing for fantasy owners outside of that one game this year. With Damien Harris (hand) coming off IR this week on top of it, Michel's path to notable touches on a weekly basis could be in jeopardy the rest of the year when he returns.
