Sony Michel Ruled Out Against Chiefs

4 years agoThe New England Patriots downgraded running back Sony Michel (quadriceps) to out for the Monday night game against the Chiefs. It's highly disappointing after Michel broke out and ran all over the Raiders in Week 3. It's another blow to the Patriots after quarterback Cam Newton's positive COVID-19 test, so they'll now be led by veteran signal-caller Brian Hoyer without their top running back against the league's highest-scoring offense. We'd expect Rex Burkhead, who broke out last weekend, and James White to split most of the backfield repetitions on Monday night. With New England likely to have to throw often, both Burkhead and White will be in play as flex options in PPR leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
