Stephon Gilmore Says He's Asymptomatic

4 years agoNew England Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore confirmed that he is asymptomatic after testing positive for COVID-19 this week. Gilmore is also claiming that he followed all of the league's COVID-19 protocols prior to testing positive. Because of the positive test, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year won't practice with the team on Wednesday and is in danger of missing the Week 5 contest against the Broncos, if the game is even played at all. The game this Sunday could be in danger of being postponed with both Gilmore and quarterback Cam Newton testing positive for COVID-19. The good news is that both players are reportedly asymptomatic, but it's something to keep a close eye on the rest of the week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
