7 years agoBaltimore Orioles infielder Tim Beckham will bat first and play shortstop against righty Sam Gaviglio and the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday. It appears Beckham is going to play everyday shortstop for the Orioles now that Manny Machado has been traded. Renato Nunez has been recalled and is starting at third base and batting eighth. Beckham is in a favorable part in the batting order, but has really struggled against right-handed pitching this season. It's probably better to avoid using Beckham in fantasy leagues and DFS.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
