Tyler Anderson Lands On 10-Day Injured List
6 years agoThe Colorado Rockies placed starting pitcher Tyler Anderson (knee) on the 10-day injured list on Sunday due to inflammation in his left knee. They recalled pitcher Yency Almonte from Triple-A Albuquerque in the corresponding move. Anderson has been terrible out of the gate, going 0-2 with an 11.00 ERA and a 2.33 WHIP across two starts, allowing 11 earned runs, 18 hits and two walks. Anderson was scheduled to make his next start on Wednesday afternoon against the Atlanta Braves, but the team is likely to reach down to the minors for an arm to make that start.
