Tyler Beede Takes Loss Wednesday
5 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Tyler Beede fell to 3-4 in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Cubs. Beede pitched 5 2/3 innings, allowing four runs on 10 hits (including three home runs) and one walk with seven strikeouts. The 26-year-old has been inconsistent all season due to his command issues and now has a 4.85 ERA with 62 strikeouts and 30 walks in 65 IP. He will next face a tough matchup against the Phillies on the road in his next start. Fantasy players should avoid Beede except perhaps in the deepest leagues.
