7 years agoToronto Blue Jays third base prospect Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (knee) will return to action as the designated hitter in the Rookie League on Friday. The Blue Jays will ease him back into action, as he's been out since June 6. He's currently MLB.com's top prospect and should be stashed in most leagues if you have the room. Guerrero was tearing up Double-A before his injury, hitting an absurd .407/.457/.667 with 11 home runs and 55 RBI in 53 games. Toronto was also considering moving him up to Triple-A before his injury, so that will likely still be on the table in the near future once they're comfortable he's past his injury. He will certainly be a candidate to join the big league roster later this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
