6 years agoSeattle Mariners starter Wade LeBlanc was excellent again on Tuesday but the bullpen let him down in the Mariners 5-3 loss to the Orioles. While tensions appear to boiling over in the clubhouse, LeBlanc continues to produce and now has allowed only one run over his last 19 innings spanning three starts. He has allowed only 13 hits during this stretch and now has an ERA of 3.56 this season with a 1.15 WHIP. He has surrendered some home runs this season (21 in 141 2/3 innings) but has really emerged as a solid rotation piece moving forward for the Mariners. A strong finish by the left-hander would cement his role for 2019.--Joey C - RotoBaller
