Wayne Gallman Visits 49ers
4 years agoFree agent running back Wayne Gallman visited the San Francisco 49ers on Monday. Last year, Gallman had 147 carries for the Giants, with 682 rushing yards and six touchdowns. But Gallman's role only existed because of a Saquon Barkley injury, and the free-agent market has been slow for veteran backs like Gallman. San Francisco seems like an odd landing spot for Gallman as they already have a solid top-two back rotation with Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr., but adding another veteran to the mix isn't out of the question. Wherever Gallman lands, he'll likely open the year as someone who is completely off the fantasy radar.
