7 years agoMiami Marlins starter Wei-Yin Chen threw 16 pitches of batting practice on Sunday, and MLB.com's Joe Frisaro reports that Chen felt really good after the session. Chen made just five starts last year before a nagging left elbow injury shut him down for more than four months. The veteran southpaw was a dominant force in Baltimore for the first five years of his career, and the Marlins are hoping he can recapture that magic in 2018. According to Frisaro, Chen could return to the rotation as early as May.--Steven Slivka
