5 years agoThe New York Mets have told pitcher Wilmer Font that he will start on Wednesday against the Padres after just being acquired from the Rays. Font is stretched out to throw around 75 pitches on Wednesday, so he should be avoided for fantasy purposes. However, with both Jason Vargas and Steven Matz injured, the right-hander could be in line to make a few more starts for his new team. The 28-year-old had made 10 relief outings for the Rays this year and had a 5.79 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 11.6 K/9 in his 14 innings.
