7 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes (heels) met with a foot specialist and had an MRI on Monday. The Mets are waiting for a second opinion, but the expectation is that Cespedes will head back to the disabled list. Nothing is official, but it does not seem like Cespedes plans to play through the injury. He's been dealing with calcification in both of his heels. The Mets will likely opt for surgery which will knock out Cespedes for 8-10 months.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
