Travis Kelce In, Spencer Ware to Start, Danny Amendola Out, Emmanuel Sanders and Keshawn Martin Active

According to Ian Rapaport, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is expected to play today despite groin and ankle injuries. With Kelce in the lineup, it is a slight bump up in projections for Alex Smith, but there are still likely better options on the waiver wire. The Buffalo Bills have allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to tight ends so far this season, so it isn't a great matchup, but Travis Kelce is still a top-10 tight end play this week.

Charcandrick West left last week's game early with hamstring injury and Spencer Ware stepped in and scored 23.10 PPR points, good for fourth among running backs last week. According to Ian Rapaport Spencer Ware will get the start at running back for the Chiefs, and while there have been conflicting reports on West throughout the morning it appears he is a long shot to play as of now. With West out, Spencer Ware is one of the top value plays of the week in daily fantasy. Knile Davis will be active as Spencer Ware's backup.

According to Steve Burton, the New England Patriots will be without wide receiver Danny Amendola (knee) tonight against the Denver Broncos. The wide receiver to start for the Patriots is now Brandon Lafell. Without Amendola, it is a bump down for quarterback Tom Brady. Brady is known for excelling with limited weapons, but he does have a tough matchup against a Broncos defense that has allowed the fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks. The matchup combined with the weather should lead to the consideration of benching Brady for a quarterback with a better matchup.

Adam Schefter has reported that Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders and Patriots wide receiver Keshawn Martin will be active for their Sunday night matchup. With Peyton Manning still out and Cody Latimer getting targets, it would be tough to start Sanders until he shows he can produce with Brock Osweiler starting. Osweiler is only startable in two-quarterback leagues. Keshawn Martin is a nice high-variance play if you are desperate for a starting wide receiver.
