Week 14 Booms? Jarvis Landry, Allen Robinson and Jeremy Maclin

Jarvis Landry had an abysmal performance against a generous Baltimore Ravens secondary by finishing with just two catches for five yards in Week 13. It was Landry’s worst performance of the season by far, but the Dolphins resorted more to the ground game and utilized running backs Lamar Miller and Jay Ajayi for the majority of the game.

Landry has still been a strong fantasy start this year, and that remains the case this week when the Dolphins face the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. The Giants are allowing 314 passing yards per game, which ranks dead last in the league by nearly 30 yards.

Landry has struggled in his last two home games by finishing with a combined 7.1 fantasy points, but he’ll be in for a much more favorable matchup against the Giants. Landry has also averaged more than 10 fantasy points per game against NFC East teams this year, so he’s sure to bounce back nicely this week.

Allen Robinson has been an absolute monster this fantasy football season, and the Jacksonville Jaguars are in for a bright future as long as he and Blake Bortles are in the huddle. Robinson finished with an insane 33 points in Week 13, and he’s finished with double-digit fantasy outings in eight straight weeks.

Robinson is in for another favorable matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, a team that ranks 30th in the NFL in passing yards allowed at 280 per game. The Colts were the last team to hold Robinson to single-digit fantasy points, but he’ll be at home for this one, a place where he’s averaged 14 fantasy points per game. With 209 yards and four touchdowns over his last two games, it’s hard to see Robinson not having another solid outing against the Colts this week.

After putting up just 4.6 fantasy points in Weeks 10 and 11, Jeremy Maclin exploded for 41.5 points in Weeks 12 and 13. Maclin has 18 catches for 255 yards and three touchdowns over his last two games, and he’ll have another favorable matchup this week against the San Diego Chargers, a team that ranks 21st in passing defense.

Maclin was limited to just 2.9 points when the Chiefs played the Chargers in Week 11, but Kansas City took a huge lead early and resorted to the running game for the entire second half. Maclin has been one of the hottest wide receivers in fantasy football over the last two weeks, and a matchup against the Chiefs puts him in WR1 territory this week.
