5 months agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager went 0-for-4 in Sunday's season finale against the Athletics. Seager was a top option at third base through the first half of the season but fell off and ended with mediocre numbers. That being said, Seager had hits six of his last seven games with two home runs in that span and has been proven to be consistent at what he does. Seager will end the fantasy season with a triple slash of .241/.355/.433 and though third base is deep, Seager will still be a decent option at corner infield and deeper leagues in 2021.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller

6 months agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager went 1-for-4 in Monday's win over the Athletics. Seager had been struggling recently going hitless in his last five games. The batting average has dropped to .253 in that span as well. This season has been tough for fantasy owners because while Seager had been a top-level third baseman for most of it, it is still such a small sample size when compared to a regular 162-game season. Seager probably isn't as good as he was earlier in the year, but he's also not this bad and will probably regress to somewhere in the middle. He is still a decent third base option moving forward.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
