4 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger (shoulder) popped his shoulder out of socket during a celebration with Kike Hernandez after his go-ahead home run in Game 7 of the National League Championship Series against the Braves on Sunday. The training staff popped Bellinger's shoulder back into place and he returned to the field in the eighth inning. The left-handed hitter was 4-for-23 with nine strikeouts entering Game 7 of the NLCS, but he broke out with his huge game-winning home run. His shoulder felt sore but functional, and he should be fine for Game 1 of the World Series against the Rays on Tuesday, but it will be something to watch heading into the Fall Classic.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

5 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger was 3-for-5 with a homer, three RBI, and two runs scored during Friday's 15-6 win over the Colorado Rockies. The homer was Bellinger's first in September, as he has endured a disappointing 2020 campaign. He owns a .228/.307/.430 slash line to go along with 11 homers, 27 RBI, and six stolen bases. He failed to live up to the MVP hype of his 2019 season, but expectations will be high again headed into the 2021 campaign. Maybe he will be able to go on a hot streak right before the postseason begins.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
