5 months agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette was limited to just 29 regular-season games in 2020 due to a knee injury, but that hasn’t stopped him from pouring on the production and moving himself significantly up draft boards ahead of next season. With 15 extra-base hits and four stolen bases this year, Bichette’s blend of average (.301), power, and speed should make him highly coveted, especially at the shortstop spot. Having delivered above-average grades with a .291 xBA and .523 xSLG, Bichette’s destruction of fastballs (.345 BA, .621 SLG) and presence at the top of the order all bode well for his prospects heading into next year.--Jesse Borek - RotoBaller

6 months agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette is expected to be activated off of the injured list prior to Saturday’s contest against the Mets. Bichette has been on the IL since Aug. 16 due to a sprained right knee, with his return zapping essentially all of Joe Panik’s fantasy intrigue. Having demolished the ball at a .361/.391/.672 clip prior to his injury, Bichette should immediately be slotted back into all season-long lineups, while having considerable DFS appeal as well. His presence makes the Blue Jays’ order even more formidable, pertinent when choosing from opposing starting pitchers.--Jesse Borek - RotoBaller
