In this space, we will highlight recommended fantasy football waiver wire pickups to consider as candidates for Week Seven of the 2013 fantasy football season, and your fantasy football rosters.
Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups: Week 7 Tight Ends
Heath Miller - Pittsburgh Steelers
Miller had another terrific game, catching six passes for 84 yards against Jets. This now gives him 15 total receptions for 189 yards in three games, an average of he has 12.6 yards per catch. He has a chance to put up more big numbers against the Ravens this week, as they have been giving up more than 250 pass yards a game this season. Miller is looking more like a must-start each week.
Charles Clay - Miami Dolphins
Clay only caught three passes for 52 yards in his last game, but he was able to get in the endzone. This was the third TD he's scored in his last four games. He has a good matchup this week facing Buffalo, and he should be able to produce a solid game. Clay has been one of the more solid tight ends in fantasy football this season.
Coby Fleener - Indianapolis Colts
Fleener did not look good against the Chargers, catching just three passes for 16 yards, and in his last two games he has just five receptions for 31 yards. He does have a chance to redeem himself this week against Denver, as they are horrendous in pass defense, allowing 337 passing yards per game. Fleener has produced mixed results so far this season, but if ever there were a game to start him. this would be it.
Garrett Graham - Garret Graham
Graham had just two catches for 25 yards in the last game against the Rams. He will have a new QB throwing to him this week in Case Keenum, and he should get some opportunities to make plays. The problem is that Kansas City has been stingy on defense the whole season, allowing just 190 passing yards per game. Graham did have his best game of the season in Week Four against a very good defense in Seattle, hauling in five receptions for 69 yards and one TD, so maybe lightning will strike twice for him this coming Sunday.
Tim Wright - Tim Wright
Wright was superb last week against the Eagles with seven catches for 91 yards. Over his last two games, he's caught 12 passes for 132 yards and could be on the verge of breaking out. He faces Atlanta this week, a team that is not particularly strong against the pass, so another monster game for him is certainly not out of the question. The only negative is the small sample size with him playing in just three games, but I think Wright is worthy of a gamble in Week Seven.
