2014 NFL Mock Draft Analysis - Denver Broncos
Top Free Agents
WR – Eric Decker
WR – Andre Caldwell
RB – Knowshon Moreno
CB – Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie
CB – Chris Harris
DE – Shawn Phillips
DE – Robert Ayers
MLB – Wesley Woodyard
Return Specialist – Trindon Holliday
Biggest Team Needs
The Broncos are losing a ton on both sides of the ball including their starting RB, top receiver, pro-bowl kick returner and sack leader. Bringing back Moreno will be next to impossible, however the Broncos will use a top pick at that position. Look for them to get creative on the defensive side of the ball.
Top NFL Draft Targets
I have mocked Denver with the final pick in the NFL draft targeting Ryan Shazier (LB, Ohio State), Marcus Robinson (CB, Florida) or AJ Johnson (LB, Tennessee). With the draft so far away it’s going to take some time to see how the prospects and their rankings take form, suffice to say they will be drafting on the defensive side of the ball which is the side Peyton Manning doesn’t control.
